じゃくはい【若輩･弱輩】

1 〔若い者〕 a young person; a youngster; 〈集合的に〉 young people.

2 〔未熟者〕 a novice; a greenhorn; a fledg(e)ling; a stripling; a mere [raw] youth; an inexperienced person.

●若輩ながらも young and inexperienced as he is.
